Current Role

Sarah provides a variety of income tax compliance, planning and consulting services to businesses and high-net worth individuals, with a special focus on partnerships. She has experience handling complex multi-state and international tax compliance matters. Sarah often works with clients beyond their original needs by offering ��ݮ��Ƶ’s breadth of services.

As a member of ��ݮ��Ƶ’s internal tax policies and procedures committee, Sarah uses her expertise to assist with developing best practices with a consistent firm-wide client-focused approach.

Experience

Prior to joining ��ݮ��Ƶ in 2013, Sarah worked at a real estate finance law firm in the property tax division for seven years. During her time at ��ݮ��Ƶ, she has assisted with complex business transactions, including sales, acquisitions, redemptions and valuations. She has helped numerous clients plan for major life events such as retirement, partner transition or buyouts.

A Closer Look

• Passionate about delivering superior client service, Sarah manages the tax internship program for ��ݮ��Ƶ’s Troy and Detroit offices and is actively involved in associate training, engagement and development.
• Having experience working in the real estate industry during the 2007-2008 housing crisis, Sarah developed real world experience of the financial difficulties the industry faced.
• Sarah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
