Current Role

Brian serves as the firm’s director of international tax services.�� He is a technical expert on international tax and transaction matters for ��ݮ��Ƶ’s clients. Brian is committed to helping clients navigate complex cross-border tax issues, international transactions, and compliance requirements.

Brian aims to provide a consulting approach in every client interaction, ensuring clients receive both proactive planning and comprehensive coverage of their reporting obligations.

Experience

Prior to joining ��ݮ��Ƶ in 2024, Brian spent over 15 years in a Big Four accounting firm assisting clients with a wide array of international tax issues, M&A activities, international tax accounting and compliance. In his previous role, Brian was responsible for the international tax group within the West Michigan market.

A Closer Look

• Brian is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
• Brian has regularly presented at Tax Executives Institute (TEI), internal and external trainings, industry groups on topics related to Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) provisions, international provision items, and other transactional matters.
• Brian is on the board of the West Michigan Golf Association.
